Coming in October of 2016
G is for Gourmet
Is a multimedia installation of food poetry and memories
Opening: Friday, October 28, 2016; 5-8 pm
Happy Holidays to all my WordPress friends I am very pleased to announce my next exhibit in my gallery, iGalleryKathyClem. I have been working very hard to create various recipes. The plating designs are inspired by the centers of the flowers from my gardens. Soon I will be starting the installation in my gallery.
The ceviche recipe is very simple: Marinate one 1 pound of very fresh uncooked shrimp in one cup of lemon juice and one cup of lime juice, and 1/2 of teaspoon of salt for 3 hours in the refrigerator. For the sauce in the drawing mix the juice of 1 lemon, 1 orange, with 3 tablespoons of honey, 1/2 cup of wine and 1 teaspoon of corn starch then heat this mixture in a saucepan until thickened. Garnish with fresh cilantro and tomatoes.
I hope you have a safe and beautiful holiday season filled with love!

Hi. I’m visiting from Blogging 101 Bootcamp. Your art is beautiful. As for ceviche, I have yet to try it. My heritage is Guyanese and I think that they make something similar called “souse”…I’m not sure of the proper spelling though. Looking forward to following your blog and “commenting” more! 🙂

Oh, my gosh. YOU CAN EVEN MAKE FOOD ART!!! Amazing. …you know, I have spent a lifetime trying to like shrimp. They look so beautiful, yet, the only time I was ever able to love their taste was when I was pregnant with my first born (and everything tasted a bit strange, then). I was rather sad when, afterward, I couldn’t enjoy shrimp again! It was a lovely few months when I could!!!
